RAY CHU, founded in 2016 by Taiwanese designer Ray, is known for championing "gender neutrality" and "inclusivity" in its fashion philosophy. Combining minimalistic aesthetics with avant-garde styles, RAY CHU debuts at Taipei Fashion Week with the SS24 Spring/Summer collection, themed around the mysterious manta ray, delivering a fashion narrative of the marine ecosystem and courage. The showcase, held at NOKE Zhongtai Le Life's "Uncanny," features celebrities like Gemma Wu Yingjie, BuoBuo Lu Siwei, AFÜ Deng Furou, Wei Ruyun, The Crane band, Li Junci, and Misc wearing RAY CHU creations. Each hue in the collection symbolizes an aspect of the ocean, with design details inspired by seaside elements. RAY CHU utilizes 3D printing to intricately craft manta ray skeletons into garments, emphasizing marine conservation. Embracing environmental responsibility, 80% of SS24 fabrics are derived from natural materials, including recycled fish scales and biodegradable fibers.
