When David Walker was a teenager, he applied for a job at legendary Boston jeweler Shreve, Crump & Low. He didn't get it. But years later, in 2006, he got the last laugh when he purchased the 200+ year old New England landmark and made the seemingly controversial decision to move its flagship store to a smaller location.
