JULIE KEGUELS Fall 2026 Paris - Fashion Channel For her Fall 2026 collection, Julie Kegels explored the concept of aura and perception, using clothing to manipulate how the wearer is seen. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s The Philosophy of Andy Warhol and the portrait work of Kyungwoo Chun, the collection focused on shadow, movement, and subtle distortions. The palette was darker, with longer, protective silhouettes. Tailored jackets and skirts featured curved thigh slits and shifted armholes to alter shadow and posture, while collars were stiff and asymmetrical, created by hot-washed wool. Raw, jagged leather was used for shoes and caps in shades of tangerine, black, and teal. Several garments included modular “bubble” capes at the back, which could be clipped on for a protective effect or let down for dramatic volume.
