LOUIS VUITTON Spring 2027 Paris - Fashion Channel Louis Vuitton Spring 2027 by Nicolas Ghesquière focused on lightness and fluidity, reworking familiar silhouettes through lightweight, technical fabrics. Three-hole dresses, cardigans, blousons and reefer coats appeared in gauzy, flowing and papery materials, with pale colors, small or blurred prints and delicate embroidery. Shift dresses and slim trousers incorporated mesh panels, while leather blousons featured dimpled surfaces. Tailoring was developed in jersey and knit fabrics, creating soft, flexible shapes, while double-face coats were made from scarf-weight cashmere and other fabrics lighter than chiffon. Most of the coats were designed to weigh less than a T-shirt. The collection was presented at the Louvre’s Cour Carrée beneath suspended wedge-shaped vehicles inspired by 1970s automobiles, reinforcing the collection’s futuristic setting and its exploration of lightweight construction and movement.
