Safer Socials Summit hosted by Lush and People vs. Big Tech

Whilst we reflect on 2025 and our actions to leave the world Lusher than we found it, one of our highlights was the first ever Safer Socials Summit that we co-hosted with People vs Big Tech at the end of November. This day long event in London brought together charities, campaigners, tech justice experts, other like-minded brands, press, influencers and Lush staff to discuss the misuse of power by the Big Tech monopolies and what can and should be done to build stronger communities, better businesses and a brighter future for our democracies. Lush has been campaigning on digital rights for nearly a decade now, from fighting internet shutdowns, to raising awareness of the mental health impacts and harmful algorithms of social media giants including Meta and TikTok.
