While it has the longest break-in period, it will provide maximum support after years of wear! 1964 Easy Break-In A Nicks exclusive leather, we work directly with Seidel to produce this leather. 1964 leather is packed full of natural oils during the hot stuffing process, which in turn makes the leather more supple and easier to break in. WeatherShield Nicks WeatherShield leather is impregnated with silicone during the tanning process. This silicone-infused leather causes water to bead off without soaking in. All of these leathers have been carefully selected for optimum durability and appearance. Different leathers have various amounts of wax and oil which change the appearance of the leather as it's flexed and wrinkled. We also use a knife to scratch the surface and reveal daily wear and tear. Lastly, we show what the leather will look like with the conditioner on it.
