Ranbir Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur at Lakmé Fashion Week - Opening | W/F'15 | VOGUE India

The first day of Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 saw shows by Quirkbox, Huemn, ILK, Payal Singhal and Manish Malhotra amongst others. Quirkbox went from its usual canvas of illustrations to video game pixels, while Huemn's sports luxe vibe has taken the turn for evening wear. Animal-inspired embellishment and textures mixed with neoprene dominated the runway. Shikha Adhikari and Vinita Grover of ILK used the chameleon motif to talk about the illusions of perception. Nirmat Kaur closed the show for Payal Singhal. Manish Malhotra showed his menswear on the ramp for the first time on the runway. His collection 'The Gentlemen's Club' is a range of luxury formal wear for men. Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp for the veteran designer.
