As a 2023 Rolex Awards Laureate, Beth Koigi is scaling up her project delivering solar-powered air-to-water technology to off-grid communities. Her company Majik Water aims to combat water scarcity in arid regions and help climate vulnerable communities adapt for the future. Following the installation of a first “water kiosk” in one of Kenya’s largest refugee camps, Koigi and her team plan on installing 10 more machines.
