My Watch Story: The Search For A Grandfather's Omega by Holly Titus

"My Watch Story" is a video series starring HODINKEE readers and their most prized watches. For more stories from other collectors and to learn how to submit your own go to: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/my-watch-story-september-23 Sometimes serendipitous moments are a big part of our love of watches. For Holly, from Indianapolis, Indiana, the endeavor to find the exact model her grandfather wore wouldn't have happened without a little bit of good fortune. Holly has distinct memories of her grandfather's watch – for him, it was an everyday wear. Finding his watch through photos, and the help of some friends in the watch community, was a way for Holly to honor the special life he lived and the impression he left on her growing up.
