Trim single-breasted jackets featured a higher button stance, while looser double-breasted styles had buttons positioned close to the neck, allowing the front panels to move freely. Tailored coats and jackets were shaped with waist suppression and deliberate puckering, alongside dress trousers and pencil skirts in a restrained palette of soft colors and lightweight fabrics. The collection maintained a classic foundation while introducing new proportions and details. Slim, bubble-hemmed dresses incorporated built-in capes that expanded as the models moved, creating rounded, parachute-like silhouettes. The combination of precise tailoring, fluid fabrics and subtle construction changes continued Bellotti’s exploration of the Jil Sander wardrobe through a more relaxed approach.
