Barbara Rizzi spring/summer ready-to-wear collection 2027 Milan Fashion Week #BarbaraRizzi #SS27 #MFW Backstage & Beyond: Barbara Rizzi talks soul and heritage in an exclusive FTV interview! Unveiled inside the historic Museo Bagatti Valsecchi during Milan Fashion Week, designer Barbara Rizzi presented her spring/summer 2027 collection, titled ""Anima."" Moving away from rigid, protective tailoring, the collection explores the tension between vulnerability and strength, peeling back symbolic historical armor to reveal the soul beneath. Sculptural metallic corsets in gleaming bronze and silver grounded vertical, fluid silhouettes that trace the body in silk chiffon and rich brocade. Grounded in a deeply emotional palette of dark earth brown, control green, and transformative copper, the showcase balanced structured authority with unstudied grace. Backstage, the energy was palpably intimate as models donned hand-stitched details, while Barbara Rizzi shared the emotional blueprint behind the runway in an exclusive interview with FashionTV. She explained that the collection was rooted in identity, heritage, and the words her father had written in her baby book, noting that when she passes, grass will no longer grow. She added that “Anima” was about discovering that true strength did not need to be impenetrable, but could move, breathe, and exist in fluid softness without ever bending.
