MARC JACOBS Spring 2025 New York - Fashion Channel in collaboration with Explora Journeys

MARC JACOBS Spring 2025 New York - Fashion Channel in collaboration with Explora Journeys Witness the extraordinary as Marc Jacobs unveils his Spring 2025 collection at the iconic New York Public Library. In a world grappling with complex issues, Jacobs presents a powerful statement through fashion, a call for courage, freedom, and the power of dreams. This season, Jacobs amplifies proportions to the extreme, playing with volume and shape in unexpected ways. From exaggerated silhouettes reminiscent of paper dolls and oddly shaped rocks to pillowy dresses and surreal footwear, the collection is a testament to his unparalleled vision and conviction. Experience the drama of giant boots with curled toes, evening heels with impossibly long points, and garments that evoke iconic figures from Betty Boop to Marie Antoinette. More than just clothing, this collection is a narrative. Jacobs' notes, beginning with "courage" and ending with a plea for freedom and understanding, underscore the importance of using our voices. The dreamlike soundtrack of "Einstein on the Beach" further enhances the collection's ethereal and thought-provoking nature. Even the sequined dots covering the models' lips seem to carry a message: The world is at a critical juncture, and we must speak up.
