Backstage, models prepped for the highly anticipated event wearing dramatic smoky makeup, light pink lipstick with sleek wavy hair. "I wanted a Summer wind in a terrible winter with warm tones, cocoon skirts, flying chiffon, transparencies and very good and positive energy," Stephane Rolland says of the line. Indeed, there was plenty of positive energy as many of the models explained how they loved what they were wearing, feeling exotic and rich. Top models walked the runway with silicone fur shoulders, embedded rock crystals, jeweled wood belts and lots of exotic feathers. The collection is simply sexy, feminine and edgy with a flying bird feel. Colors of the evening consisted of brown, gold, white, dark purple and black. Inspiration comes from Belgian couture, originality and strong character. Chinese actress Fan Bingbing closes the show in a magnificent white fully covered gown with fringes along the side coming down from the shoulders and a lengthy trail like never before. Kim and Kanye only made it for the finale, and they missed a stellar showcase.
