ALBERTO ZAMBELLI Spring 2027 Milan - Fashion Channel Alberto Zambelli Spring/Summer 2027, titled *The Room*, drew inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s *A Room of One’s Own* and the Eastern philosophy of emptiness. The collection explored clothing as a personal space, with lightweight volumes and sculptural shapes creating distance between the body and the fabric. Tailoring in lime-white fresco wool was paired with irregular pleating in India Ink and sulphur tones, while striped jacquard cotton inspired circular silhouettes and cocoon-like forms. Fluid silk kimonos followed the movement of the body, contrasting with structured origami-inspired folds and essential shapes embellished with mother-of-pearl-effect sequins. The palette ranged from parchment and mahogany to obsidian and India Ink. Silk, cotton, cashmere and raffia were complemented by crystal and bronze jewellery, lattice-inspired accessories and tights by Falke.
