Casa Vouge 2021: Teja Amonkar

A protégé of Bijoy Jain, Teja Amonkar started her Panaji-based architectural practice @field_atelier with her husband and fellow architect Yatin Fulari in 2015. Known for building primordial spaces that inconspicuously blend with their landscape, their architectural rigour lies in choosing materials that are emblematic of ecological sensitivity. “We work on a lot of restoration projects and use salvaged wood for the interiors. The idea is to create without damaging,” notes Amonkar about the sustainable bent of their practice which specialises in residential spaces across the sunny state of Goa.
