Artist Alec Monopoly Hand-paints Figurines for Jacob & Co. Astronomia Alec Monopoly

“On the graffiti wall it’s so much easier,” says Alec Monopoly. The Astronomia Alec Monopoly was the first time the famed graffiti artist was asked to hand-paint his iconic characters as miniature 3D sculptures. He was impressed by the fine details of this kind of work. “Every element, brushstroke and color choice needed to be carefully thought out and perfectly executed. My street art murals are often free flowing and wild but Given the intricacies and meticulous mechanics within these watches I needed to approach the creative process with much more precision and patience.”
