ZARA 50TH ANNIVERSARY As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Zara presented 50 Songs of the Sea — a kinetic installation created by artist Es Devlin at the Cúpula Atlántica in A Coruña. The work responds to the energy of this historic Galician site – a rugged promontory that juts into the waves and weather systems of the atlantic ocean – marked by the broad reaching beams of the legendary unesco protected Tower of Hércules. Inside the observatory’s 25-metre-wide dome, 250 rotating seats immersed visitors in a poetic sequence of light, sound, and movement — a celebration of Zara’s 50-year journey through creativity and connection.
