Lush Thank You: Looking back at 2020

#Lush2020 It's no secret that the past year was tough but we found moments of hope and plenty to reflect on. Early in the year, millions of animals across Australia needed our help. With the purchase of All The Wild Things Soap, you donated $67,000 to animals in need across the outback. In March, you showed up again for Mi Casa Es Tu Casa—another philanthropic soap that gave 100% to organizations dedicated to building local power, and dismantling the agencies that raid and deport members of our communities. Because all people should enjoy freedom of movement across the world. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, our lives changed overnight. We’re incredibly grateful to you for sticking with us as we navigated uncharted territory. And to our staff, who worked tirelessly to get orders out the door for Lushies across North America as well as the over 415,000 donated products to 278 organizations in need: thank you. You made a difference in countless lives. We took action in anger and pain at the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade and far too many others. Together, we stood in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement to demand accountability, justice and change. We donated $250,000 plus an additional $250,000 from Charity Pot Body Lotion sales to Black-led organizations working for racial justice and equity.
