Anirudh's grandfather was gifted the watch on his wedding day and after wearing it almost his entire life, he passed it on to Anirudh's mother. Finding no real use for the watch, she gave it to Anirudh's uncle, but later its whereabouts were unknown for some time; it was Anirudh who really took an interest in finding it. Years later, his brother revealed that he knew where it was and handed it over to him. As the current custodian of the watch, Anirudh has since had it restored back to its original condition. The watch is currently 82 years old and he looks forward to seeing it well past its 100th birthday.
