The global consumption of paper has increased tremendously and so is the amount of paper wastage. Increased paper production has put more strain on the world's forests, which are already in perilous shape - and only growing worse. So, each time you discard a half-used paper, you add another piece of waste into the environment, therefore putting more stress on the forests. In this video, Mamaearth shows how most of the printed papers in our offices are only half used. So to celebrate five years of Mamaearth, they decided to perform a simple act of goodness. They pledged to reduce the wastage of paper by reusing paper. Our first step towards this pledge started by collecting all the one-sided printed paper accumulated in our offices and converting them into notebooks- thus giving birth to the #MamaearthGoodBook. Mamaearth has attempted to spread goodness through various other initiatives like: • Plastic Positive: We consistently try to do our bit by not adding more plastic into the ecosystem. As a part of our Plastic Positive initiative, we consume less plastic and recycle double the amount of plastic that we use.
