A few years ago, he decided he would celebrate getting an orchestral conducting job by getting a watch – and in 2019, he became conducting fellow of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach. He chose this Christopher Ward and had it inscribed "New World Symphony" on the back as a reminder of the pursuit of his dream.
