CARVEN Spring 2027 Paris - Fashion Channel Carven Spring 2027 marked Kai Nesselrath’s debut as design director, drawing on the wardrobe of founder Madame Carven and her late 1950s and early 1960s designs. The collection opened with lightweight silhouettes defined by clean geometric cuts and high hemlines, softened by fluid, lightweight fabrics. It then moved into contemporary blousons and pullovers in jacquard, slinky knitwear and long, roomy button-down shirts, with airy layers and feather-shaped embroidery. Lightweight coats were cut generously without added bulk, alongside neo-cargo trousers, a multipocket jacket with a moleskin collar and skirts and dresses inspired by artisan aprons. Open-back necklines, draped dresses and raw edges added a relaxed element. Accessories included pencil-shaving-shaped mismatched earrings, vintage-inspired eyewear, large totes with compartments for smaller bags and mostly flat shoes. Be one of the first to see new videos.
