Vogue Italia at Fashion's Night Out, Spring 2012 Milan Fashion Week MFW | FashionTV - FTV

http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN - Fashion's Night Out is a big event during the beginning of September where stores all over the world are open late to promote fashion and buying consumer goods. While New York's events with well-known celebrities and fashion designers was by far the biggest, cosmopolitan countries like Madrid and Milan also did something for the occasion. The people are out in the streets in Milano for this global celebration of fashion. Dsquared2 designers Dan and Dean Caten are on hand for the festivities. "It's madness, it's amazing," one of the twins tells FTV, "It's so nice to see the city full of life and energy." Other VIPs out for the event include fashion designer Alberta Ferretti and actor Riccardo Scamarcio. FashionTV heads to luscious lingerie brand La Perla and stores like Stuart Weitzman and Le Silla. Frankie Morello designers Pierfrancesco Gigliotti and Maurizio Modica have Platinette, an Italian actor in drag, as their special guest. "It's an enjoyable evening," says Gigliotti. "I think it's a wonderful thing to involve all these people that are in the streets and shops," adds Arianna Romero, an Italian showgirl, at the Cesare Paciotti store. "Thank you to Vogue and Conde Nast," says Le Silla Creative Director Monica Ciabattini, "Because finally we have contact with the customer."
