The New Ventura Collection Pays Homage To The King Of Rock And Roll’s Iconic Hit I Hamilton Watch

In 1957 Hamilton introduced the first electric timepiece: the Ventura. The pioneering, futuristic design established itself as a symbol of innovation and quickly attracted like-minded devotees and one collector in particular who built his career by daring to be different. Elvis Presley was a dedicated fan of the Ventura from its debut. He amassed a personal collection of the Mid-Century Modern design icon and Presley wore the Ventura in his musical “Blue Hawaii.” The new Ventura Collection is inspired by Presley’s hit single “Blue Suede Shoes,” the first song on the artist’s self-titled debut record. Released in 1956, the album set in motion a career that would change music and the world with “Blue Suede Shoes” leading the way, just as the Ventura ushered in a new era of watchmaking.
