#Act4Equality #Pride2021 A conversation on how we pass the Equality Act CA Take action: https://p2a.co/y4fhBb9 US Take action: https://p2a.co/MuPBjad On June 30th, 2021, we celebrated Pride month with a live conversation on how to support and pass the Equality Act, legislation that would update federal law to fully protect LGBTQ Americans from discrimination in key areas of life. This virtual event was hosted live by Chris Mosier (he/him), a groundbreaking transgender athlete, who was joined by Kasey Suffredini (he/him), Freedom For All Americans, Andy Hong Marra (she/her), Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF), and Nadine Smith (she/her), Equality Florida. These amazing members and advocates of the LGBTQ community took the floor to talk about the legislative, policy, grassroots campaigns underway, and all the ways people can support and get involved.
