This particular watch originally belonged to a franchisee in California in the late 1990s, and is engraved with his initials. A self-described "economic casualty" of COVID-19, Jason sees it as a memento of someone's professional success – and got it for good luck, wearing it during phone screenings as he went through the process of interviewing for new jobs.
