Reneé Rapp Prank Calls Role Model, Bowen Yang, Towa Bird & Jake Shane | Phoning It In | ELLE

Reneé Rapp loves to lie—but hates cold calling. The solution? Hand her a martini, power through everyone’s DND, and let the chaos unfold. In this episode of “Phoning It In,” the ‘BITE ME’ singer delivers an unhinged masterclass in improv, prank calling her closest friends with zero remorse as she convinces Bowen Yang she hit Lorne Michaels on a crosswalk, drunkenly professes her love to Role Model, fakes an arrest to rattle her partner Towa Bird, traumatizes Jake Shane with a pregnancy scare—and even throws a queer Don Draper pitch Jon Hamm’s way. Will her friends ever forgive her? Will they ever forgive *us*? Probably not. But for an Oscar-worthy performance powered by fake tears—absolutely worth it.
