The Disaster Artist Star Ari Graynor Explains The Room Movie in 1 Minute | W Magazine

"The Disaster Artist" star Ari Graynor attempts to do the impossible—explain the plot of Tommy Wiseau's absurdist 2003 cult film, "The Room," in under a minute. In "The Disaster Artist", Ari Graynor plays the role of Juliette Danielle, the actress who plays "Lisa" in "The Room". In this 60-second recap, Graynor quickly tries to make sense of a movie that makes no sense. Of course, there's director, screenwriter, producer, and lead actor Tommy Wiseau, who plays a banker named "Johnny". Johnny has a fiancee named "Lisa" (played by Ari Graynor as Juliette Danielle) who *SPOILER ALERT* is having an affair with Johnny's best friend Mark. The film culminates with a big birthday party for Jonny that ends with Johnny killing himself. In addition to Graynor, The Disaster Artist cast includes Dave Franco as Greg / "Mark", James Franco as Tommy / "Johnny", Seth Rogen as Sandy, Alison Brie as Amber, Paul Scheer, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, June Dian Raphael, Megan Mullaly, Jason Mantzoukas, Nathan Fielder, and Joe Mande among others.
