SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/FashionTVSUB http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS - Jean Paul Gaultier is totally a French designer, but he went to New York for his Fall/Winter 2012-2013 runway at Paris Fashion Week. And while his line was urban, it was also eye popping and a bit cartoonish in the fabulous way we've come to expect from JPG. In the same way Manish Arora used graffiti, Gaultier used it here--with dark tones in mind. Leather pants and biker jackets were in abundance and the prints came in the form of cars, license plates and street signs that conjured up images of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Colored furs were also part of the package. He played up the structured trench against the graffiti-embellished pieces, used metallics and created lots of masculine lines fit for a woman (though Andrej Pejic's walk in the show was a real treat!) This was all tied together by Nico and the Velvet Underground which provided the soundtrack for the stunning show. Appearances: Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Aline Weber, Yulia Kharlapanova, Frida Gustavsson, Aymeline Valade, Tanya Dziahileva, Liu Wen, Anne Vyalitsyna, Zuzanna Bijoch, Anais Pouliot, Andrej Pejic, Alana Zimmer, Jourdan Dunn, Sui He, Sigrid Agren, Lindsey Wixson, Daga Ziober, Kendra Spears, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, Constance Jablonski, Daria Strokous, Cora Emmanuel, Jean Paul Gaultier SHOP http://shop.fashiontv.com CHANNEL http://youtube.com/FashionTV FACEBOOK http://facebook.com/FTV TWITTER http
