Each piece reflected a card from the Fool to the Universe, translating the symbolism into couture design. The collection featured 2,400 leather flowers forming a dress representing the Empress card, suede and knit garments with braided leather ropes referencing the Hanged Man, and body-skimming T-shirt dresses with card-inspired motifs. Materials were primarily Hearst’s own deadstock, including velvety ivory tanks, knitted silk dresses, and tan suede with fringe and small metallic charms. Casual intarsia sweaters and matching jeans depicted elements of water, air, and earth, while hand-crocheted star details in long dresses referenced the Hierophant.
