SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/FashionTVSUB http://www.FashionTV.com/videos In recent years, the Calvin Klein brand has become the king of minimalism and Francisco Costa has only enhanced that with his turn as designer. So when we hear of a Calvin Klein Collection coming up, we don't think, "What unusual designs and motifs will they use this year," but more like, "What colors and fabrics will the brand enhance?" Because it's not about patterns for this All-American brand, it's all about shapes, materials, and bold or subtle colors. For Spring/Summer 2012, it was subtle. Fall/Winter 2012-2013 at New York Fashion Week just got a whole lot bolder with colors like black, cream, beige, and a striking coral. There was also leather and wool and other wintery fabrics. Perhaps best of all was Costa's use of shapes and lengths, keying in on the oversize trend and the idea of modest fashion. Modest, except for the occasional sheer panel which was sexier than usual. This was the most striking of all. Appearances: Kati Nescher, Zuzanna Bijoch, Nimue Smit, Julia Nobis, Arizona Muse, Dempsey Stewart, Bette Franke, Mirte Maas, Cora Emmanuel, Francisco Costa SHOP http://shop.ftv.com CHANNEL http://youtube.com/FashionTV FACEBOOK http://facebook.com/FTV TWITTER http://twitter.com/FashionTV FashionTV's YouTube network features coverage of fashion shows, fashion week, runway highlights, front row celebs, backstage, hair and makeup, models, designers, photo shoots, red carpets
