Now living in the Philippines, he decided to sell the majority of his collection to help supplement his retirement. With a plan in place to enjoy life on a leaner collection, David never could have predicted the challenges and difficulties of 2020 – particularly the lockdown measures in the Philippines. Frustrated and unable to leave his home, he reflected on his life. "Why the heck am I denying myself nice watches?" he thought. For him, this Doxa represents not only the right steel sports watch for his ocean environment, but it's also a symbol of surviving and moving forward.
