When Dee Met Sue | Ep. 2 | Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird: The Greatest Duo | Nike x TOGETHXR

“There’s no street lights here, there’s no traffic here... there’s no people.” Storrs, Connecticut was a complete culture shock for Dee. Even as a top recruit coming out of high school, her freshman year reflected that transition. As she learned to adjust to a new system, a new style of play, and a new place, her best friend, Sue, was there for her every step of the way. This is a story about friendship, adversity, and inevitable triumph. In this 8-episode series presented by Nike and TOGETHXR, we highlight four pivotal years in the greatest duo’s journey: 1996, 2000, 2016 and 2020, through the lens of Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi.
