Black Love Is The Revolutionary Act | The Pride Series | British Vogue

“Black love is quite magical to me,” says Dolly Okeowo in Anna Fearon’s short film, part of British Vogue’s second annual Pride video series. “When I add queerness to that I think it gets to another level of like, holiness... It’s even closer to God.” Okeowo is one half of one of four couples who star in Fearon’s joyful short, which celebrates Black queer love and examines it as a radical form of self-love. “Being Black and LGBT, naturally every day you experience micro-aggressions.
