JUANA MARTÍN's collection transcends mere fashion, delving into the depths of human experience. From a somber and destructive atmosphere to the gradual emergence of peace and freedom, each dress tells a poignant story of resilience and hope. The carefully crafted garments in this collection are adorned with powerful symbols, capturing the essence of the era. The bull, a symbol of strength, represents the indomitable spirit of the Spanish people. Eyes symbolize the pervasive government surveillance that permeated society, while hands encircling the dresses depict a form of oppression. Every detail holds profound meaning, immersing us in the narrative of this transformative period. Cubist and abstract art, born out of rebellion against the nationalism of the time, play a central role in this collection. The designs pay homage to these artistic movements that challenged traditional norms. The color palette draws inspiration from the predominant hues of the Spanish artistic movement, featuring tones of white, black, gray, and silver.
