He accidentally dropped the watch and had to have it repaired – not the easiest expense to bear as a student – but he did so anyway and hasn't regretted the decision since. Marius was surprised with the resurgence of interest in this particular model and it has spent quite a bit of time on his wrist compared to the more modern watches in his collection.
