For Spring 2025, Davis turned to Ferragamo’s history in ballet, drawing inspiration from founder Salvatore Ferragamo’s connections with legendary dancers like Katherine Dunham and his custom ballerina shoes for Rudolf Nureyev. Balletic codes dominate the collection, with form-fitting, twisted cashmere layers, alongside luxurious silk, nylon, suede, and organza opera coats. Nureyev’s signature oversized wardrobe informed the billowing shapes, while Dunham’s mid-century elegance was reimagined with contemporary sequin embroidery and resin finishes.
