The Ferragamo shop is part of a plethora of high-end shops in the mall including Tod's, Ermenegildo Zegna and Louis Vuitton. Leonardo Ferragamo is the son of Salvatore Ferragamo. He's one of six children. Since 2000, he has been the CEO of Palazzo Feroni Finanziaria S.p.A, the family's holding company. This is his first visit to this shop in China. "We are very happy and proud to be here," he tells FashionTV. Ferragamo was one of the first brands to open their Italian shop in China. Their first shop opened in Shanghai in 1993. The shop in Sanya is one of almost 60 shops that exist in China. "We believe there is a great opportunity for integration between Chinese culture and skills, with the ones we can deliver from our country," he says.
