ANN DEMEULEMEESTER Fall 2026 Best Looks Paris - Fashion Channel Stefano Gallici’s Autumn/Winter Ann Demeulemeester collection was presented at the Couvent des Cordeliers in Paris, in a dark, nocturnal setting shaped by a live performance from Beguiling Junior that opened the show. The collection, titled Dear Night Thoughts, draws on Gallici’s personal journal writing, alongside references to Patti Smith, Arthur Rimbaud, and Allen Ginsberg. It builds a layered language where literary and musical influences sit within a contemporary reworking of the house’s romantic codes. Silhouettes combine 19th-century dress references with collegiate and festival elements. Leather is treated to appear aged, denim is reworked with shredded detailing, and uniforms are deconstructed into shorts and softened tailoring. Varsity sweaters are transformed into dresses with visible fraying, while lace and ruffles move between underlayer and outerwear. Across the collection, construction is intentionally exposed through elongated laces, unfinished edges, and visible structure.
