The Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Furious Sapphire Green

A watch case made completely out of sapphire crystal is one of the top achievements in high watchmaking. Crafting the sapphire crystal case for the Twin Turbo Furious provided a myriad of challenges because of its complex shape and uneven surfaces. The design took about nine months and manufacturing the watch took approximately another six months. Every angle was hand polished to full transparency, allowing an unobstructed view of the 832 components of the manual winding JCFM05 caliber. #jacobandco #inspiredbytheimpossible
