Discover the spring/summer 2024 collection of Agatha Ruiz De La Prada unveiled at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid! The designer was inspired by the abstract geometry of Africa; the prints reveal this fantastical agathistic phantasmagoria which plays with the frontiers of cultural exchange. Neon tassels, multicolored sheer fabrics, sequins, yellow feathers, fuchsia feathers are mixed with different kinds of patchwork to evoke an imagined and mythological world full of vitality and color, and movement. The agathist icons – the heart, the flower, the star, the eye – also come to life as giant walking masks, ready to practice an agathist voodoo whose consequences are difficult to foresee.
