Carl F. Bucherer brings the tonneau watch into the 21st century with the Patravi T-24. A dual-time automatic with features and versatility to space, the Patravi T-24 revitalizes the ancient tonneau genre with masculine character lines and bold stainless steel forms.
The Patravi model line is Carl F. Bucherer's home for sports and active-lifestyle models. It's unabashedly targeted at male collectors, and the strong character lines of the Patravi T-24 reflect this intent.
As a family-controlled independent firm since 1919, Carl. F. Bucherer has no fear of moving beyond the conventions of industry orthodoxy. While the tonneau has endured as a delicate dress style since the early 20th century and the dawn of the wristwatch, the Patravi T-24 enhances this old-school shape with new school wrist presence.
The lugs of the Patravi T-24 jut outward, flare, and read as separate components rather than tapered extensions of the case. A double-stepped bezel rises above the case flanks to create a robust twin character line that terminates at four pointed corners. In contrast to flowing tonneau forms issued by the likes of Franck Muller, Vacheron Constantin, and Cartier, the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi T-24 forgoes the effete grace of a dress watch for the aggressive stance of sports watch.
At 46mm lug-to-lug and 36mm across, the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi T-24 sits comfortably even on wrists smaller than 6 inches (15 centimeters) in circumference.
