Alicia Keys gets ready for the 2020 Grammy Awards | Vogue India

As a 15-time Grammy winner, Alicia Keys knows a thing or two about getting ready for music’s biggest night of the year. “I’m still an artist so I really understand what they’re feeling tonight,” she explains to Vogue behind the scenes at the Los Angeles Staples Centre. Hosting for the second year in a row, it was a difficult evening for all following the tragic passing of basketball superstar Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, earlier in the day. “We’re all heartbroken,” Keys told Vogue before the ceremony. “We’ve been working so hard to revamp the show to really properly honour him and his family.” In an emotional tribute at the start of the ceremony, Keys sang It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday with Boyz II Men. Watch the singer/songwriter get ready to host the 2020 Grammy Awards and share how she prepares for such an iconic event.
