SEE MORE: http://www.fashiontv.com/FashionWeek http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS - It's practically impossible not to expect something fantastic at a Hussein Chalayan show. His concept was impressive--the idea of seizing the day and making even the most ordinary situations extraordinary. But how does one transition this to ready-to-wear clothing? If you're one of the pioneers of incredible and creative art-meets-fashion design, it can be done! The backdrop projected ordinary moments, including ones that were taken on Chalayan's very own cell phone. The clothes itself were practically ordinary, which went extraordinary as they got larger and more boxy. Later on the jacquard and paint-splattered motifs spoke "volumes." (Pun totally intended!) We thought the look of boxy went out with Fall/Winter 2012-2013 but Chalayan proves linebacker shoulders are still in trend for the next season. Appearances: Alana Zimmer, Liu Wen, Erjona Ala, Aline Weber, Iris Egbers, Samantha Gradoville, Anais Pouliot, Andreea Diaconu, Josephine Skriver, Kaitlin Aas SHOP http://shop.fashiontv.com CHANNEL http://youtube.com/FashionTV FACEBOOK http://facebook.com/FTV TWITTER http://twitter.com/FashionTV FashionTV's YouTube network features coverage of fashion shows, fashion week, runway highlights, front row celebs, backstage, hair and makeup, models, designers, photo shoots, red carpets at the biggest events in Hollywood, and much more.
