http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Celebs, models, and designers are in New York for one of the biggest fashion events of the year--the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, which celebrates the launch of an exhibit highlighting a pretend conversation between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers of different eras who made an impact on nonconformity in fashion.
The opening event to debut the exhibit brings the top celebs of the world, often on the arm of the designer who made their dress. Designers and brands who dressed celebrities, models, and socialites include Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Versace, Valentino, Givenchy, Donna Karan and of course, Prada.
Vogue America Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour shared hosting duties with actress Carey Mulligan, who is often seen wearing Prada and is a huge fan of the brand. Both were in the high-end label that evening. Vogue's William Norwich and socialite Elettra Wiedemann interviewed celebs on the red carpet for the first ever livestream of the gala event.
