The Future of Politics is Female

#lush #advocacy #activism The American population is made up 51% women, but is led by a government made up of 80% men. What’s wrong with this picture? Well, women’s voices and perspectives are missing from conversations and decisions that impact their lives. And until we have equal representation in government, we won’t have leadership that’s truly reflective of our country. That’s why She Should Run, a Lush Charity Pot Partner, has launched their 250KBY2030 campaign, a movement encouraging 250,000 women to run for office by 2030. As young women and girls across the country are forming opinions about who can be a leader, it’s up to us to show them what’s possible. Join the race towards equal representation by running for office, asking other women to run and encouraging girls and young women to consider a career in politics.
