Miu Miu Literary Club 2026 | Day 2 with Victoria Magrath

With @VictoriaMagrath, the second day at Miu Miu Literary Club 2026 “Politics of Desire” continues, where desire is framed as a force that connects literature, identity and social structures. The second day opens with Changes: A Love Story, where Ama Ata Aidoo’s narrative becomes a lens to examine female agency within post-colonial society. The discussion considers how personal choices confront cultural expectations and redefine independence. With contributions from Wayétu Moore, Francesca Marciano and Gloria Wekker, moderated by Nadia Beard, the conversation is followed by Katherine Angel’s lecture on consent, proposing a perspective rooted in mutual vulnerability and uncertainty. These are followed by live music performances, as well as prose and poetry readings. Under the direction of Miuccia Prada and curated by writer and researcher of Italian culture, language and literature Olga Campofreda discover more about #MiuMiuLiteraryClub at: https://tinyurl.com/53jn24y4 Subscribe to Miu Miu’s YouTube channel: / @miumiu Discover more Miu Miu: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/miumiu/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@miumiu X: https://x.com/MIUMIUofficial Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MiuMiu
