After stints in London, New York, Los Angeles, Istanbul and Paris, Tanya Singh started her dual practice in Mumbai and Milan in 2016 with her eponymous Tanya Singh Studio (@tanyasinghstudio). “The nature of my work is craft-based,” says Singh, whose nuanced design, like a good movie that warrants a rewatch, only reveals itself on closer look. This makes residents grow fonder of her work as they start observing her obsession with detail, whether it’s a doorbell or a handle.
