ONDINE explores fluidity and movement through lightweight fabrics and evolving silhouettes. Organza, tulle, silk satin and translucent textiles create a balance of transparency and volume, with suspended layers, twisted constructions, gathered drapes and fluid shapes revealing the structure of each garment. The collection features sculptural brooches inspired by jellyfish, sea anemones and other marine forms, appearing to emerge from the garments. References to the work of Ann Veronica Janssens, Rachel Whiteread and Franz Erhard Walther inform the collection’s approach to the relationship between body, material and movement.
