Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury says the makeup is inspired by iconic makeup (red lips, black eyebrows, pale skin) and giving it a little bit of a twist. The makeup team was inspired by geishas and something Japanese. "The shape of the lips is very special," says model Steffi, who says the shape is not her own. "The mood of our collection for this season is starting from the color of Picasso, the couture of Capucchi, and at the same time, the ironic idea of the Venice masquerade," says Tommaso Aquilano, one half of designer duo Aquilano Rimondi. Both Anna Wintour (Vogue America) and Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia) are backstage before the show.
